Greetings! My name is Cheng XU!
I'm now a first year Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science at University College Dublin (UCD) under the supervision of Prof. M-Tahar Kechadi. I'm honored that you click on this website to learn more about me.
My current academic interests are Fake News Detection, Multimodal Learning, Generative Model and Reinforcement Learning. My dream is to be a data scientist and use what I have learned to help more creatures.
I want to understand the world and nature from the perspective of algorithm, but not just stay at the technical level.

- [09/2022] I joined UCD School of Computer Science as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Professor M-Tahar Kechadi.
- [06/2022] I graduated with provincial honor from Huaibei Normal University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. (The highest honor for graduates)
- [08/2021] Three Projects are approved by National University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation of China, under Grant 202110373041, Grant 202110373044 and Grant 202110373042.
- [05/2021] One paper is recommended to participate in the 14th China University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Conference.
- [04/2021] One first-authored paper about the application of weighted improved random forest algorithm in medicine is accepted by Archives of Medical Science.
